I inspire people to learn.

Life has taken me from hospitality to education to corporate learning, but one thing has remained constant—my passion for learning and helping others grow. I thrive on solving problems, optimizing processes, and designing engaging learning experiences that empower people to succeed.

As a Learning & Development leader and PMP-certified project manager, I specialize in program management, instructional strategy, and technology-driven training solutions. Whether it’s implementing LMS platforms, developing multimedia learning experiences, or facilitating leadership training, I focus on scalable, high-impact learning solutions that drive engagement and retention.

With a B.A. in Sociology and an M.S. in Learning Experience Design, I bring a deep understanding of how people learn and how organizations can support professional development. I integrate ADDIE, SAM, and UbD (backward design) with andragogy frameworks like Bloom's Taxonomy, Gagné’s Nine Events, and UDL to create meaningful, results-driven learning experiences.

At my core, I believe learning should be engaging, interactive, and fun—because when people enjoy the process, they remember the knowledge when it matters most.

 Work Experience

Xactly Corporation

Joining Xactly has been an incredible learning opportunity, allowing me to refine my expertise in learning technology, instructional design, and LMS administration. I quickly adapted to the fast-paced environment of the Education department, becoming proficient in Articulate Rise, Vyond, and Docebo LMS. My work in LMS administration has been particularly rewarding, as I have developed custom pages, workflows, and course standards that have enhanced both efficiency and the customer learning experience.

At Xactly, I manage the end-to-end development of learning programs, leveraging the ADDIE model to gather insights from customers, SMEs, and stakeholders and translate them into engaging e-learning and instructor-led experiences. I also conduct detailed learning analytics to assess engagement and learner outcomes, ensuring that our training strategies evolve alongside industry trends and time constraints.

Currently, I am leading a team-wide initiative to restructure learning content, creating a modular, customized curriculum that integrates e-learning, video, interactive workshops, and personalized support. This blended approach ensures that learners have access to flexible, high-impact training that meets their individual needs while driving knowledge retention and engagement.

School District of Lee County

As an educator, I found that the best way to get people to learn is to make them comfortable and get them laughing. I taught 10-12 grade social studies, but I also held important roles in leading a professional learning community, developing and administering training to new and experienced teachers and administrators, and serving as the go-to person for all things Google Suite and new educational platforms. I have attended countless professional development courses in learning strategies, educational technology, and assessment skills.

I developed a knack for creating meaningful lessons both in the classroom and in the meeting room. I hosted student teachers to shadow me for a semester at a time, teaching them how to create meaningful lessons and manage students. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was selected for my technical knowledge to represent my school on the District committee to develop an online learning platform called Lee Home Connect and the associated professional development for teachers and staff.

I taught AP World History and was able to adapt the abundance of online content to fit the needs of my Title 1 students, but when I started teaching AICE Sociology, the international syllabus was just rewritten, and there was essentially no curriculum available. I had to create each piece of learning from scratch, and this was crucial to understanding how to break down complex material into bite-sized pieces. It was very humbling to find out how little I knew about Cambridge-style learning, but after 3 years of this course, I have improved the pass rate for the end-of-course exam from 22% to 82%, 11 points higher than the global average.

Crossover Audio Video Systems

Crossover AVS was a small company that provided custom audio and video installation to residential customers. We installed home theaters, surround sound, indoor and outdoor speakers, TVs, and home automation, including custom programming.

My role at Crossover was to onboard and train the technicians and salespeople to provide them with the best knowledge and skills so they could deliver superior service to our clientele. Because the field was ever-changing, I relied on constant contact with vendors and SMEs to stay abreast of the latest technologies. I created and hosted in-person and virtual trainings, as well as white pages, manuals, and advertising material. I helped host on-site trainings for Sonos, Universal Remote Control, Klipsch, Denon, Bose, and more.
